Job Description

We have an immediate opening for a Band Saw operator in the Union City, CA area.  This is a role at a manufacturing company.  This is a daytime position, typically starting at 7 am Mon-Fri.  As a part of this role, in addition to operating the band saw, you may help out in the receiving area.

Duties may include but are not limited to the following:

  • Operating the band saw safely to cut bar stock and other pieces of metal down to a specified size
  • Using basic measuring tools to check the dimensions of the raw materials
  • Helping out in the receiving area 
  • May operate pallet jacks or forklifts to move materials
  • May have occasional use of the computer to enter data
  • other duties as required
