Job Description
We have immediate opening for a CNC Lathe Machinist in the Morgan Hill area. You would be manufacturing parts for medical devices and aerospace devices with tight tolerances. We are seeking candidates that are interested in working on the 2nd shift. There is some flexibility on the start time for 2nd shift. These are full time positions for candidates with the right experience. Typical duties for these positions would include but are not limited to the following:
- Start up and operate CNC Lathes
- Utilize tools such as calipers and micrometers to measure parts and make sure they meet specified tolerances and dimensions
- Monitor the CNC equipment to make sure it is operating properly
- Be able to edit programs at the machine
- Do all your own setups on the machine independently
- Read Mechanical Blueprints
These positions will start around 2 to 3pm in the afternoon. If you have 4 or 5 or more years of experience setting up and operating CNC Lathes and are interested in this position, please contact us.
