Workers.com is seeking a skilled and dedicated Door and Window Installation Technician to join our growing team!
**Job Responsibilities:**
• Measure, cut, and install various types of doors and windows in residential and commercial properties
• Remove old doors and windows safely and dispose of materials properly
• Prepare installation sites by ensuring proper framing, leveling, and structural integrity
• Apply weatherproofing, caulking, and sealants to ensure energy efficiency and water resistance
• Install door hardware including locks, handles, hinges, and closers
• Conduct quality inspections to verify proper operation and fit of installed products
• Communicate with clients in a professional and courteous manner regarding project progress
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition
• Follow all safety protocols and building codes during installation
• Complete installation documentation and project reports accurately
• Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project completion
• Troubleshoot installation challenges and provide effective solutions
• Proven experience in door and window installation (minimum 2 years preferred)
• Strong knowledge of carpentry, construction techniques, and building materials
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and measurements
• Proficiency with power tools, hand tools, and installation equipment
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
• Good physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials (up to 75 lbs)
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work in various weather conditions and at different heights
• Time management skills and ability to meet project deadlines
• Basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations
