Electrical Assembler

We have immediate full time openings for Electrical Assemblers in the Livermore, CA area in a commercial manufacturing environment. Day to day duties for this job include:

• Plans new or modified installations to provide access for future maintenance and avoid unsightly and hazardous wiring, consistent with specifications and local electrical codes

• Prepares sketches showing location of wiring and equipment, or follow diagrams, ensuring that concealed wiring is installed before completion of future walls, ceilings, and flooring
• Measure, cut, bend, thread, assemble, and install electrical conduit
• Splice wires by stripping insulation from terminal leads, twisting or soldering wires together, and applying tape or terminal caps
• Install, control and distribution apparatus, switches, relays, and circuit-breaker panels
• Connect power cables to equipment and install grounding leads and test continuity of circuits to ensure electrical compatibility and safety of components
• Repair faulty equipment or systems

Job Qualification Requirements:

• Minimum Experience: 3 years
• Preferred Education: Trade School
