Job Responsibilities:
• Perform routine preventive maintenance on industrial equipment and machinery
• Diagnose malfunctions and repair or replace faulty parts in mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems
• Read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics to troubleshoot issues
• Conduct regular inspections of equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety
• Install new machinery and equipment according to manufacturer specifications
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts inventory
• Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime and optimize equipment efficiency
• Implement and follow safety procedures and regulations in the workplace
• Assist in training junior technicians and operators on proper equipment usage and maintenance
• Respond promptly to emergency maintenance calls and perform necessary repairs
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance maintenance processes
• Keep work areas clean, organized, and free of safety hazards
• Stay updated on the latest industrial maintenance techniques and technologies
Skills Required:
• Associate's degree in Industrial Maintenance, Mechanical Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
• 3+ years of experience in industrial maintenance or related field
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical documents and schematics
• Hands-on experience with various tools, including power tools and precision measuring instruments
• Knowledge of electrical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics
• Familiarity with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) and automated systems
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as needed
• Physical stamina to lift up to 50 pounds and work in various positions (standing, kneeling, climbing)
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• OSHA certification preferred
• Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) a plus
