Laborer Assistant for Surveyor team

We have immediate openings for surveyor/laborers in the Phoenix area.  This will be a full time temp to hire position. Schedule will be Monday to Friday starting around 5:30 AM. There will be some overtime available.

Job requirements include:

• Assisting the survey crew chief in the performance of property surveys and construction staking activities
• Operate industry standard survey equipment to include robotic total stations, data collectors, GPS and other types of survey data collection equipment. 
• Accurately and efficiently collect field survey data and set survey markers while working on a variety of survey project assignments.
• Adhere and be in compliance with the company’s safe operating procedures as outlined in the Company’s Safety Manual with attention to accuracy and thoroughness.

Minimum requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• Active driver's license with clean driving record
• Comfortable working at heights and on water bodies.  
• Ability to travel and remain on a project site for several days at a time
• Being able to work on assignments unaccompanied

Physical requirements include:

• Being able to lift up to 50 pounds
• Being able to transport surveying equipment and supplies in all weather conditions (heat, rain, etc.)
