• Oversee and manage the maintenance operations of CNC machines and related equipment
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and optimize machine performance
• Troubleshoot and diagnose complex mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in CNC machinery
• Coordinate and supervise maintenance staff, assigning tasks and providing technical guidance
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance
• Collaborate with production teams to schedule maintenance activities with minimal disruption to operations
• Manage inventory of spare parts and maintenance supplies, ensuring optimal stock levels
• Stay updated on the latest CNC technology and maintenance techniques
• Implement and maintain safety protocols for maintenance activities
• Conduct regular inspections of equipment to identify potential issues before they become critical
• Develop and manage maintenance budgets, tracking expenses and identifying cost-saving opportunities
• Train maintenance staff on proper procedures, safety protocols, and new technologies
• Liaise with equipment vendors and service providers for repairs, upgrades, and technical support
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance maintenance processes and efficiency
• Prepare and present regular reports on maintenance activities, equipment performance, and key metrics to management
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in CNC machine maintenance, with at least 2 years in a management role
• In-depth knowledge of CNC machine operations, programming, and maintenance
• Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Proven leadership and team management abilities
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficiency in maintenance management software and Microsoft Office Suite
• Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• CMRP (Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional) certification preferred
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety standards
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends when necessary
