We have an opening at a plastic injection molding company near Fairfield, CA. We are hiring a Maintenance Mechanic to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Perform preventative maintenance on injection molding machines and other manufacturing equipment.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform necessary repairs.
- Work with PLCs, VFDs, and other control systems.
- Assist machine operators with setup, tool changes, and troubleshooting.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 2-5 years of experience in a manufacturing maintenance role, preferably in plastics or injection molding.
- Proficient in troubleshooting and repairing hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical and mechanical systems.
- Familiar with PLCs, VFDs, and other industrial control systems.
- Able to work a rotating schedule that includes weekends and holidays.
