Job Description
We have an immediate opening for a manufacturing and production welder in the Union City area. We are seeking candidates with a MINIMUM of at least 2 years of experience. Schedule is Monday-Friday, 7am - 3:30pm. Pay rate is based off of experience and can range from $23 - $33 an hour.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform welding, brazing, soldering and cutting tasks according to blueprints, drawings or work orders
- Weld component parts together to fabricate or repair items such as machine parts or products
- Operate welding machines and cutting torches to join and section metal or thermoplastic components
- Inspect welds and test completed products for defects
- Maintain equipment and work areas, performing minor repairs
Skills Required:
- Experience with welding techniques such as MIG, TIG or arc welding
- Experience reading blueprints, sketches or work orders
- Ability to perform precision welding and cutting operations
- Familiarity with welding safety standards and procedures
- Attention to detail and quality
- Comfort working as part of a manufacturing team
