We have an opening at a leading plastics manufacturing company that specializes in high-volume plastic injection molding. We are looking for an experienced Molding Manager to oversee all aspects of our molding operations.
Responsibilities:
- Manage molding department including monitoring productivity, and implementing improvements
- Oversee molding processes including mold maintenance, mold design, mold setup, tool room, and mold installation
- Troubleshoot molding issues and defects to optimize quality and efficiency
- Ensure molding equipment is properly maintained and serviced
- Manage molding technicians and staff, including hiring, training, and performance reviews
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in plastics injection molding, preferably in a managerial role
- Expertise in various molding techniques, resins, and automating molding equipment
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Detail-oriented and capable of optimizing complex processes
