We have immediate openings for Deburrers/Metal Finishers looking for work in Tempe, CA. These are full time positions, Monday - Friday, from 7:00am - 3:30pm. As a part of this position, you would be bending, stooping and standing for long periods and lifting up to 50 pounds. In a metal finishing environment, you may use a variety of tools and equipment such as sand paper, grinders, dremel tools, and other polishing equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Smooth and polish metal surfaces using abrasive wheels and compounds
- Operate polishing and buffing machines to grind down and smooth metal surfaces
- Ensure the proper maintenance and operation of polishing equipment
- Follow production schedules and complete work efficiently while meeting quality standards
- Use detailing tools to smooth edges and apply finishing touches to metal pieces
Requirements:
- 1- 2 years experience is required
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment preferred
- Familiarity with various polishing techniques like buffing, honing and lapping
- Knowledge of different metal types and their properties
- Dexterity and attention to detail
- Ability to stand for long periods while operating heavy machinery
